If you have a previous version of the software, don't worry! Although we're teaching Adobe® Creative Suite® 5, our instructors will point out which features are new and which aren't.

So whether you're using CS5 or its predecessors, our classes will meet your needs.

Class Description

New Class!

This class is for experienced users who want to try new methods or master old ones. This class should be a truly satisfying stretch for even long-time Photoshop users.

what we cover

Create textures and user interface
  • use Layer Styles to their fullest
  • tackle Photoshop's 3D features to manipulate supplied 3D models and make a couple, too
  • use Repousse to creatively extend graphics and text
Leverage Photoshop CS5's new painting engine
  • bring your Wacom tablet! you'll be able to bring home your settings at the end of class
  • building brushes and controlling them expertly
Automation
  • use Actions to record complex "recipes" and replay them
  • use scripts for even more flexibility
Cross-application Considerations
  • moving between Photoshop & Illustrator
  • prepare assets for InDesign
  • design interface elements for Flash Catalyst
